Start Your Visit at the Mount Gretna Visitor Center

Located in the historic former Mount Gretna Post Office on Carnegie Avenue, the Mount Gretna Visitor Center is the best first stop for exploring the Pennsylvania Chautauqua and the surrounding Mount Gretna community.

From Memorial Day through Labor Day, the Center is staffed seasonally and offers:

  • Walking maps and brochures

  • Local history and community information

  • Program and event details

  • Recommendations for trails, playgrounds, venues, and nearby attractions

Even when the Center is closed, maps and printed materials are available outside the building 24/7 so visitors can explore at their own pace.
